The Al Andalus Innovation Venture is an event held in Seville that aims to connect scaleups, corporations, and investors from southern Spain in the innovation and financial field.
Its second edition took place on September 26 and 27, 2023 at the Navigation Pavilion in Seville. A series of presentations, round tables, workshops, one-to-one meetings, mentoring, and matchmaking events were held.
Among them, we should highlight the involvement of our CEO, José González, in the discussion panel “How to develop a Scale Up from Andalusia”; and our Head of Innovation, Pablo Aguilera, in the workshop “Wi-Fi Analytics: location, presence, tracking, and much more without user collaboration.”
The challenge that the organization brought to Galgus was to deploy a Wi-Fi infrastructure capable of responding efficiently in a high-demand scenario, taking into account the high number of people who were going to attend the event.
In a record-breaking time, we put into operation a high-level Wi-Fi network that provided coverage to the 1,902 professionals, 400 startups, 174 exhibitors, 155 investors and 72 corporations that were part of the event.
They were able to enjoy fast, robust and uninterrupted internet access thanks to our CHT technology, prepared to successfully overcome situations in which a large number of people request to connect to the network simultaneously.
Thus, organizers, participants and attendees were able to access it to show their solutions and technology, including multimedia content; to hold virtual meetings, or to share via social networks their presence at the event, among other actions.
Everybody was truly satisfied with the quality of the Wi-Fi network, being able to deploy its full potential and carry out their work without any problems or interruptions. One more proof of the value that Galgus brings to professional events, whatever the environment and the user demand requirements.
