We are off to the Wireless Global Congress EMEA. What awaits us there?

From 17 to 20 October are dates marked on our calendar, as we will be actively participating in the Wireless Global Congress EMEA, organised by the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) and Network X.

This is one of the world’s leading Wi-Fi events and it will take place in Amsterdam. So at Galgus we have everything ready to travel there and meet the main players in the connectivity and telecommunications industry.

An unbeatable opportunity to showcase our solutions and technology, as well as to establish synergies that will enable us to lay the foundation stone for high-value projects. Of course, it is a sensational opportunity to learn about the latest trends, developments, standards and success stories in the sector.

Companies, suppliers, manufacturers, organisations, integrators, experts… all of them under the roof of the Amsterdam RAI Conference Centre. An exhibition area with stands (we will be at number B36B), networking areas and events, conferences and much more await us there.

What key issues will be discussed at the event?

Within the wide-ranging programme of activities included in the Wireless Global Congress, the following themes are worth highlighting:

  • How does Wi-Fi deliver on the promise of fibre?
  • Wi-Fi and its role in the smart home of the future.
  • Evolution of Wi-Fi and beyond.
  • How can operators leverage the value of Wi-Fi?
  • Wi-Fi Roaming: improving user experience and enabling new business models.
  • The union of 5G and Wi-Fi.
  • Spectrum Today vs. Spectrum Tomorrow and overview of the impact of the 6 GHz band regulations.
  • Deliver an enhanced enterprise Wi-Fi experience.
  • Getting ahead of the threat: securing public Wi-Fi.

Galgus, present and very active

And within the event’s agenda, Galgus also has its space. On this occasion, our colleague Blaz Vavpetic will give the presentation “5G/WiFi Convergence Without Compromise”. This will take place on Thursday 20th at 11:45 am.

In addition, immediately afterwards Blaz will participate a panel discussion with representatives from Onsemi, Virgin Media, O2 and Commscope, which will cover topics such as:

  • Evaluating the importance of mobile and wi-fi convergence for a superior connectivity experience.
  • Sectors benefiting the most from Enterprise Wi-Fi 6.
  • Will enterprises bypass Wi-Fi 6E and go for Wi-Fi 7 instead?.
  • Discussing the challenges & opportunities of the next generation of enterprise Wi-Fi.

We have some very intense days ahead of us in Amsterdam, and we are really looking forward to them. An excitement that we would love to share with you, either by visiting us at our stand, or by keeping an eye on what we are going to tell you through our communication channels. Don’t miss out!
