On May 29th, we had the pleasure of meeting with clients, partners, and industry professionals in Milan to demonstrate firsthand how Galgus solutions transform Wi-Fi connectivity into a valuable strategic tool.
With the help of our strategic partner in Italy, IT.Answer, we shared a morning filled with knowledge, technology, and a vision for the future.
The session began with a presentation by Daria Pedan, Key Account Manager EMEA at Galgus, who gave an introduction to our solutions. In her presentation, she explained how Galgus transforms a conventional Wi-Fi network into an intelligent and proactive network, capable of autonomously optimizing itself thanks to its Cognitive Hotspot Technology (CHT) and offering the most accurate location and presence analytics on the market.
Daria emphasized Galgus’s role as a strategic partner for those seeking networks that not only connect but also provide value in the form of data, operational efficiency, and improved user experience. She also presented several success stories from various sectors.
Massimiliano Pacioni, CEO of our partner Around People, then spoke and presented a highly interesting case study: the project carried out at the Meraville shopping center.
This experience demonstrated how the data collected by Galgus systems allows for a better understanding of visitor behavior, optimization of resources, and evidence-based decision-making.
The analysis included flow patterns, dwell times, and hot spots within the venue, providing a clear example of how technology can transform the management of public and commercial spaces.
Next, Miguel Torres, our Senior Sales Engineer, provided an overview of the Galgus product ecosystem. From smart Wi-Fi solutions to location analytics platforms, he highlighted how each piece of the portfolio addresses the specific needs of customers and integrators.
In addition, Galgus’s ability to adapt to different environments while maintaining high standards of performance, safety, and ease of management was highlighted.
To close the day, Pablo Aguilera, Director of Innovation at Galgus, connected remotely and gave a technical session on network optimization and passive location technologies.
The Galgus Network Health monitoring system was presented here, as well as advances in RTLI (Real-Time Location Intelligence) through CHT technology. It was highlighted how these tools not only offer real-time metrics but also allow for anticipating incidents, improving the user experience, and making strategic decisions based on reliable data.
The event concluded with a Q&A session and networking session among participants.
