The Minister of Universities, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Jos\u00e9 Carlos G\u00f3mez Villamandos, has officially visited the headquarters of Galgus, the Sevillian smart Wi-Fi company, in the Sevillian municipality of Camas.<\/p>\n\n

A visit that he made accompanied by Ricardo S\u00e1nchez, Government Delegate of Junta de Andaluc\u00eda in Seville, and Francisco Mar\u00edn, from GED Conexo Ventures.<\/p>\n\n

This visit demonstrates the Andalusian government’s support for one of the leading and most disruptive companies in the Wi-Fi landscape worldwide, which has just celebrated its tenth anniversary.<\/p>\n\n

A support that, above all, is reflected in the fact that it <\/span>has won the tender of Junta de Andaluc\u00eda to deploy its equipment and technology in the 10,500 public buildings of the Andalusian administration.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n

During the morning, the Minister had the opportunity to see from the founders of Galgus, Jos\u00e9 Gonz\u00e1lez and Jos\u00e9 Antonio Alfonso, the value it brings to the different sectors of the <\/span>more than 24 countries<\/b><\/span> in which it is based. Galgus has <\/span>prestigious clients<\/b><\/span> such as Telef\u00f3nica, Boeing, Barcel\u00f3 Hotels, Cellnex, Adif, Netoip and Icomera, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

A reality that is due, above all, to its <\/span>Cognitive Hotspot Technology (CHT) which<\/b><\/span>, installed in the access points, manages to increase the speed of the WiFi connection by five times by making them communicate with each other and work together.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

On the other hand, its <\/span>Location & Presence Analytics<\/b><\/span> solution offers 95% accuracy in detecting and geolocating Wi-Fi devices, whether or not they are connected to the network. A tool that is very well received by its customers, as it allows them to reliably know the behavior of people in a specific environment and make decisions based on it.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
